Lost In Music party band for weddings, corporate events, parties, Bar Mitzvahs, charity fundraisers
Lost In Music are a fully professional live party band, comprising the absolute cream of British singers and musicians. They are perfect for all functions - corporate events, weddings, dinner dances, large festivals, charity events, birthdays, Bar (and Bat)-mitzvahs, theatres, outdoor events, fund-raisers, etc
They have an enormous set list (around 420 songs, and growing constantly) and are hugely experienced in playing all kinds of shows, all over the country and abroad.
They are working constantly all over the UK & abroad and can incorporate costumed themes into their show such as 1970s disco, 1980s, Abba, James Bond, School Disco, 1960s soul, or 1950's rock 'n' roll (if required). Normally though, they'll just play music through the decades all mixed up with segues and mash-ups, whipping the audience up into a frenzy - the pace is relentless!
Lost In Music perform everything completely LIVE - they do not use backing tracks. All songs are linked together so there are no embarrassing 5-second gaps in-between each song. It's a full-on, mashup-city, dynamic, jumping-up-and-down, party-rockin' set from start to finish. Your guests will be dancing all night and we'll get home shattered. Layer upon layer of harmony makes a huge difference to the live sound. Loads of on-stage energy.
Based around the London / Hertfordshire / Buckinghamshire / Cambridgeshire / Berkshire / Essex / Kent / Surrey / Bedfordshire / Sussex / Middlesex / Northamptonshire / Oxfordshire area, but can be booked to play anywhere in the UK or overseas.
Minimum 6-piece (bass guitar, keyboards, drums, lead guitar, two lead singers) but expandable up to 12-piece (adding an extra female singer, tenor sax, trumpet, extra male singer, baritone sax, percussionist).
Clients include Jamie Oliver, James Caan, Richard Branson, and a Who's-Who of the best known companies around. Companies like Prêt A Manger, Harley-Davidson, Kuoni, BP, Haymarket Publishing, Lancôme, Great Ormond Street Hospital, FTSE, Unilever, Georgio Armani, BT, Ernst & Young, Hewlett-Packard, Marks & Spencer's, British Airways and many others. "Great to have you play for us again, lots of fun and the band was superb again.
Thank you very much, we look forward to the next time."
Justin & Heidi (23/4/16, Wisley Golf Club, 40th birthday party) on 23 April 2016
"Thank you very much indeed, both for playing and for indulging the guest who wanted to sing.
From the moment you started playing, I'm not sure I've seen the dancefloor fill so fast, so you must have done something right!"
David Kimber (5/4/16, Association of Teachers & Lecturers, party at Arena & Convention Centre (ACC), on 5 April 2016
"I just wanted to say thank you for Saturday night. I thought your band was absolutely superb! You kept everyone on the dancefloor all night and played exactly the right tunes that we needed to get everyone going. The music and vocals were great, very tight, and the stage presence (in terms of entertainment and 'filling the room') was exactly what we were looking for.
The feedback around work has been really great about all aspects of the event and specifically about you and the band - no bad feedback at all! We're very happy with the whole thing but the music is so important as this crowd love to dance!
We most definitely will be in touch next year if/when we get the go ahead to run this event again."
Leah Curphey (21/11/15, Southampton, party for CooperVision) on 21 November 2015
"We are still buzzing from our wedding last Friday. Everyone said how awesome the band were. People were on the dance floor from the very first song and throughout. The way the lead singer interacted with the crowd and got everyone involved - particularly for Carwash, Love Train and the Oops Up Side Your Head/Long Train Running mash-up was brilliant as it kept the energy pumping. I always knew they would go down a storm but they exceeded even my very high expectations. I am so glad I chose Disco Nights!"
Lee and Mark (gay wedding, Woodbridge, 24/7/15) on 24 July 2015
"We have been meaning to email you ever since our wedding day to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so brilliant at our wedding. You were all fantastic and created the most amazing atmosphere to ensure that everyone was having a good time. The mixture of genres meant that everyone got up to dance and loads of our guests have made comments since about how great you all were. Thanks for all your support leading up to our big day as well - I know I was a bit mental with all my spreadsheets but I knew I was in safe hands with you and you took it all in your stride which was much appreciated. We have some brilliant memories from our special day and many of them were created by you and your band so please do say thank you to them all from us.
With many thanks and best wishes"

I have had lots of thank you letters and everyone loved your music. It really made the party special and got people dancing. We are all now recovering and getting back to normal again after such an exciting time. On a personal note I would like to thank you for helping me to have sound for Charles' speech as without you guys that had been proving impossible, it was a very special moment and surprise for William."
