Business Profile

At SCFS, we help those whio can't help themselves, whilst offering (in addition to our low cost furniture outlets) a range of support services to assist people with tasks which they are unable to do. Amongst our services, provide gardening, decorating, security installation and advice, handyperson services and also furniture restoration.

We pride ourselves on our diversity, providing a wealth of training including life skills and on the job training for volunteers and trainees.

Over the years SCFS has evolved from a small furniture store with only a few volunteers to a thriving charity with 16 staff and a growing number of volunteers and trainees and offers a wide variety of services. We are constantly looking for new initiatives, keeping within the theme of the organization, to provide even more help to vulnerable people within the Sunderland community.
