About Viscount Cruises Viscount Cruises is a family business which has been operating passenger boats in London for over 30 years. We specialise in private charters for Corporate & private clients & also operate a number of public sightseeing cruises throughout the year. Our large Class V passenger boats M.V Avontuur IV & M.V London Rose are maintained to high safety standards & boast a range of modern facilities. Our vessels are regularly used for a wide range of events including office parties, Summer celebrations, Christmas parties, dinner cruises, anniversaries, birthdays & transfers.

We also operate public sightseeing cruises between Westminster Pier, St. Katharine Pier & Greenwich Pier, 361 days a year under the name Thames River Services (Read More). Thames River Services are also the only company to offer sightseeing cruises through the Thames Flood Barrier (Available on selected dates between April - October). Our 2-hour Sunday Evening Cruise is the oldest continually operating evening cruise on the River Thames. Sunday Evening Cruise departs Greenwich Pier (Cutty Sark) every Sunday between May - September with special "Festive" Sunday Evening Cruises available at Christmas. Our Shared New Year's Eve Cruises & New Year's Eve Charters provide an excellent way to see the New Year in style & sell out year after year.

Thames Sunday Evening Cruise We have been operating our 2-Hour Sunday Evening Cruise for over 30 years, it's London's oldest evening cruise & departs from Greenwich Pier (by the Cutty Sark) every Sunday from May - September. The cruise travels upriver from the Royal Borough of Greenwich, passing Docklands & underneath Tower Bridge before cruising through the City of London & City of Westminster. We travel as far as time & tide allow before turning & cruising back to Greenwich.

The cruise takes place on-board one of our passenger boats with comfortable indoor seating & a large open deck with outdoor seating. There is also a fully licensed bar & toilet facilities in the saloon. During the cruise a member of our crew will point out places of interest in the form of a commentary. We also have an audio guide available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish & Mandarin (Available through Wi-Fi, smart device & headphones are not provided).

During the cruise we pass more than 44 of London's riverside landmarks including the Old Royal Naval College, the tea clipper Cutty Sark, Tower of London, HMS Belfast, the Shard, Tate Modern, St. Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye & the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament). We also cruise under a number of iconic bridges including, Tower Bridge, London Bridge & the Millennium Footbridge.

Thames River Services Thames River Services operate regular cruises between Westminster Pier, St. Katharine Pier & Greenwich Pier. Between April-October Thames River Services also operate extra services with five sailings continuing downriver to the Thames Flood Barrier each day.

The service is formed by several modern but traditional vessels with indoor areas & open decks.

New Year's Eve Cruises One of the best places to celebrate the New Year is on-board a passenger boat on the River Thames. We have a range of New Year's Eve Cruises available including 5-hour shared boat parties on-board our large passenger boats & exclusive charter options for a private New Year's Eve Cruise.

Our Shared New Year's Eve Boat Parties are a sell-out event with guests returning to celebrate with us again & again. Tickets for out Shared New Year's Eve Boat Parties are £175.00 Per Guest & include selected beers, ciders, wines, soft drinks, a finger buffet & disco.
